Job summary

Tata Elxsi, Inc. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced automotive test engineer to set up HIL test rigs and dSPACE environments, cascade test plans, and drive automation across CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires CAPL and Python scripting, strong knowledge of CAN/LIN/Ethernet/UDS, and hands-on testing across System Integration and Functional Safety, with mentoring responsibilities for junior team members and collaboration with cross-functional teams from architecture to launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive/Transportation domain.
• Hands-on with HIL systems (dSPACE, NI, Vector VT).
• Strong CAPL and Python scripting skills.
• Expertise in System Integration Testing and System Qualification Testing.
• Proficiency with automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, OBD.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, quality management processes, and Functional Safety for testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities
