Balasore Alloys Limited is seeking experienced professionals for its Mining Operations team to safely operate Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM). The role focuses on safe operation, productivity, equipment care, and compliance with mining safety standards and company procedures.

You will perform pre-start inspections, operate excavation and material handling equipment, coordinate with supervisors, maintain records, and support preventive maintenance while following safety rules and 5S

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in mining, quarrying, earthwork, or HEMM operations.
• Good knowledge of HEMM operating procedures and equipment safety.
• Ability to work in a mining environment and rotational shifts.
• Strong understanding of workplace and mine safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and fellow operators.
• Willingness to work at mining locations and in shift-based operations.

Responsabilités

• Operate assigned HEMM equipment safely and efficiently as per SOPs.
• Perform pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Operate equipment for excavation, loading, hauling, transportation, and material handling.
• Coordinate with Mining Supervisors and other operators for smooth mining operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and immediately report defects or abnormalities.
• Follow mine safety procedures, PPE requirements, traffic rules, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain daily equipment operation and production records.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment inspection activities.
• Ensure proper handling, parking, shutdown, and safe storage of equipment.
• Minimize equipment downtime through proper operation and timely reporting of issues.
• Maintain workplace housekeeping and comply with 5S requirements.
• Support the mining team in achieving production and productivity targets while maintaining safety standards.
