Golcha Associated Group is seeking an experienced maintenance leader for its mining operations. The role focuses on maintaining all HEMMs, planning preventive and predictive maintenance, and driving reliability and cost optimization across the site.

You will develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and lead teams to ensure safety and maximal equipment uptime at mining project sites.

Formación

• Experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong exposure to HEMMs maintenance and maintenance planning.
• Proven track record in driving process improvements and equipment development projects.
• Knowledge of maintenance budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into actionable plans.
• Leadership experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the maintenance function for all HEMMs and allied mining equipment, ensuring availability and efficiency.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term maintenance strategies to support production objectives.
• Plan, monitor, and drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities across the site.
• Identify improvement opportunities and spearhead initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, and cost optimization.
• Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance data to drive action plans.
• Prepare budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, and central workshop for resource planning and spares management.
• Develop maintenance teams through manpower planning, training, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and statutory requirements.

Role & responsibilities -

• Lead the maintenance function for all HEMMs and allied mining equipment, ensuring maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term maintenance strategies to support production objectives.
• Plan, monitor, and drive preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities across the site.
• Identify improvement opportunities and spearhead new initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization.
• Analyze equipment performance, downtime trends, and maintenance data to develop effective action plans.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
• Conceptualize and execute development projects, process improvements, and modernization initiatives in coordination with management.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and Central Workshop team for resource planning, spares management, and maintenance support.
• Lead and develop maintenance teams through effective manpower planning, training, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and best maintenance practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong exposure to HEMMs maintenance, maintenance planning, and equipment reliability management.
• Proven experience in driving new initiatives, process improvements, and equipment development projects.
• Sound knowledge of maintenance budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable maintenance plans.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing maintenance teams and contractors.
• Proactive, result-oriented professional capable of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Open to relocation and working at mining project sites.
