Job summary

Eaton Corporation in India (Maharashtra, Ranjangaon) is seeking a Heat Treatment Production Supervisor to develop shop floor schedules to meet customer demand and plant goals.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate in Metallurgy or equivalent (BE/DME).
• 3–6 years of heat treatment production experience.
• Willing to work in shifts and lead production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop shop floor schedules to meet demand and plant goals.
• Hands-on with heat treat equipment and metallurgy inspection.
• Oversee shift manpower planning and training needs.
• Promote ELS disciplines, QMS awareness and safety.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Support certification requirements (EBEA, ISO14001, EQS, IATF, MESH).

Job description

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. What you’ll do:

• Develop shop floor schedules to meet customer demand and plant goals. Key considerations include meeting customer on time delivery, maximizing efficiency and minimizing scrap.
• Hands on experience of All Heat Treat Equipment (SQF, Carburizing process for Gear manufacturing).Hands on experience of Metallurgy inspection. Troubleshooting of HT processes.
• Basic gear machining knowledge
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Shift manpower planning to meet organizational goals.
• Promote and sustain ELS disciplines and improvements. Ensure that standardized practices are followed where applicable. Knowledge of Quality management systems.
• Evaluate shop floor training needs (including cross training) and provide as needed.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor performance of production personnel and identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Provide strong leadership to develop a participative and continuous improvement culture in the organization.
• Ensure that all regulatory standards and company policies are understood, supported and followed on the shop floor.
• Support implementation of key certification requirements – EBEA, ISO14001, EQS, IATF, MESH
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Engineering Graduate Level (B.E. /DME /)Metallurgy of (10+2+4)
• Preferably 3-6 years Heat Treatment production experience
