Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks a Healthcare-Business Analyst with experience as a Domain/Business Consultant or BA in US healthcare to translate business needs into technical solutions.

You will lead requirements, model use cases, prepare backlog items, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders.

Exposure to Agile practices and ALM tools (Jira, Rally, RTC, RRC) to deliver end-to-end healthcare IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Domain / Business Consultant or Business Analyst experience in US Healthcare.
• Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, Plan & Product, Member, Claims, Clinical & Care Management, PBM.
• Proficient in SDLC phases: requirements, modelling use cases, data analysis, technical specs, testing, scheduling, training manuals.
• Experience driving meetings with client leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Comfort with design-thinking approaches such as personas, journeys, and story maps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and global exposure to multicultural organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements grooming sessions to develop product backlog and elaborate functional specifications for IT solutions, using ALM tools.
• Document as-is and to-be business processes, assess models and integration with technology.
• Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to analyze requirements and prepare product backlog items.
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and manage backlog with prioritization.
• Act as bridge between business requirements and technology solutions and testing.
• Lead agile projects, SLAs, operations, budgets, and quality controls.
• Participate in account/unit level strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities.

Healthcare-Business Analyst

Relevant experience as a Domain / Business Consultant or Business Analyst or an Industry Practitioner in US Healthcare Industry and related best practices.

• Extensive experience in at least one or more of the industry segments & awareness of the latest business & industry trends a. MEDICARE b. MEDICAID c. Plan & Product d. Member e. Claims f. Clinical & Care Management g. PBM - Pharmacy
• Proficient in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle e.g. gathering requirements, modelling use cases, analyzing data, developing technical specifications, resolving issues, user acceptance testing, tracking schedules & tasks and documenting processes for training manuals.
• Experience in driving meetings with client business leads & cross functional stakeholders.
• Conversant with more visual, more design-thinking based, and more agile lightweight approaches such as customer personas, customer journeys, story maps, etc.
• Excellent soft skills - written and verbal communication
• Global exposure to a multi-cultural organization structure
