Job description

ROLE

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and review policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide guidance and support on safe working practices to site teams, contractors, and clients.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and propose corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
• Monitor and assess the environmental impact of operations and develop strategies to promote sustainability.
• Oversee waste management and recycling programs to minimize environmental footprints.
• Track and report on energy efficiency initiatives and implement measures to reduce energy consumption.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation and regulatory requirements, providing guidance and ensuring compliance.
• Deliver HSSE training sessions and toolbox talks to promote awareness and understanding of policies and procedures.
• Develop and deliver HSSE communications and campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support the HSSE Manager in developing and implementing training programs, manuals, guidelines, and other educational materials.
