Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Workforce Management
    • Drive end-to-end planning and deployment of a large operations workforce to ensure availability, productivity, and capability building.
    • Assess and implement new workforce engagement and deployment models aligned with business needs and expansion plans.
    • Build strategic partnerships to enhance hiring, training, and workforce readiness.
  • Talent Acquisition, Development & Vendor Management
    • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous capability development for third-party workforce.
    • Manage partnerships with service providers, training institutions, and NGOs to ensure uninterrupted, cost-effective manpower supply.
  • Productivity, Engagement & Analytics
    • Drive workforce productivity, engagement, and skilling programs to reduce absenteeism and attrition.
    • Implement predictive analytics and tech-driven solutions to enable cost optimization and operational efficiency.
    • Lead productivity and cost-saving initiatives across sites.
  • Industrial Relations & Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong on-ground relationships to ensure a stable and harmonious industrial relations environment.
    • Oversee MIS governance, conduct site reviews, and guide teams in managing critical situations and crises.
  • Organizational & HR Capability Building
    • Foster a culture of respect, performance, and continuous learning.
    • Develop HR and operations leadership pipelines through structured capability-building initiatives.
    • Collaborate closely with business leaders to align workforce strategies with business priorities.
  • Client Management & Service Excellence
    • Work with key clients to address service issues, enhance delivery standards, and strengthen relationships.
    • Lead workforce planning for new site transitions while balancing performance KPIs, cost, and margins.
  • Legal Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Engage with regulatory bodies and proactively address compliance or operational risks.
    • Lead crisis management efforts and strengthen organizational responsiveness through robust governance mechanisms.
  • Organizational Leadership
    • Provide strategic direction to HR operations teams, promoting accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
    • Drive organization-wide initiatives that support long-term growth and operational excellence.
The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Post graduate with 15+ years with a proven track record in industrial environment with a focus on high transaction, process driven operations and large contract workforce.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial relations, HR operations and workforce strategies.
  • Proficient in data and analytics, ability to plan will be important
  • Strong ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and workforce management software for data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to implement new ideas and identify growth opportunities for workforce optimization
