Job summary

EinsTechnik Formwork Systems P Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Head to lead Plant-2, driving manufacturing excellence with lean, automation, and digital tools. The role focuses on safety, quality, throughput, and cost control in a state-of-the-art aluminium formwork facility.

You will oversee production planning, optimize OEE, lead a skilled team, and coordinate with planning, design, procurement, and maintenance for flawless operations.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-15 years of experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, aluminium products, steel structures, construction equipment, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing large production teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead complete manufacturing operations of Plant-2 to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and safety.
• Lead robotic welding, CNC machining, automation, and digital manufacturing practices.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare daily MIS reports for the Managing Director.
• Ensure ISO standards, quality systems, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Lead RCA, CAPA implementation, preventive maintenance initiatives.
• Implement Industry 4.0 initiatives, digital dashboards, ERP/MES utilization, and data-driven decisions.
• Support capacity expansion and commissioning of new production lines when required.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and technology-driven Production Head to lead Plant-2 of our state-of-the-art Mivan Aluminium Monolithic Formwork Manufacturing Facility. The plant is equipped with robotic welding systems, CNC machinery, and modern automation technologies. The role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, lean manufacturing expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead complete manufacturing operations of Plant-2 to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Maximize plant productivity through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive robotic welding, CNC machining, automation, and digital manufacturing practices.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and utilities.
• Develop production strategies to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), reduce downtime, and increase throughput.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, Design, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare daily MIS reports for the Managing Director.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards, quality systems, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and preventive maintenance initiatives.
• Optimize production costs through waste reduction, process improvements, and better resource utilization.
• Ensure timely execution of customer orders without compromising quality.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of production teams.
• Implement Industry 4.0 initiatives, digital dashboards, ERP/MES utilization, and data-driven decision making.
• Drive innovation in manufacturing processes for aluminium formwork systems.
• Coordinate new product development, process validation, and production trials.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping, EHS standards, and zero-accident culture.
• Support capacity expansion and commissioning of new production lines whenever required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 -15 years of experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, aluminium products, steel structures, construction equipment, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing large production teams.
• Strong exposure to robotic welding, CNC machines, fabrication, assembly, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, OEE, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems.
• Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented manufacturing environment.
