Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (Automotive and Farm Equipment) is seeking an expert with 12+ years in electrical systems for construction vehicles. You will lead end-to-end electrical design, including lamps, wiring harnesses, clusters, and diagnostic tools, coordinating with EMS, ABS, and telematics teams.

Role requires BE/ME in Electrical & Electronics, strong CATIA V5/Siemens skills, and proven vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Electrical & Electronics is required.
• 12+ years of experience in electrical/electronic systems for construction vehicles or related equipment.
• Proven ability to drive design, validation and integration across vehicle subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system development for construction equipment projects.
• Develop and integrate electrical parts like lamps, wiring harness, clusters, sensors.
• Design diagnostic and prognostic tools for field reliability.
• Collaborate with EMS, ABS, telematics teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Product Knowledge for Construction equipment, trends in industry, innovations to ensure reliable and sound electrical systems based on application requirements
• Ensure creation and adaptation of various electronics system in the vehicle like (GPRS, Telematics, and Multi-mode operation, communication strategy between man and machine, vehicle to vehicle and within vehicle) for differentiated product value proposition based on under-standing of customer needs.
• Development of electrical parts like lamps, wiring harness, temps, cluster etc. with latest technology and integration at vehicle level
• To keep update with latest development of EES systems and incorporate the same on vehicle.
• To design and develop diagnostic and prognostic tools and strategy
• To work with interfacing areas like EMS, ABS, telematics and develop approach for development for Construction Vehicles
• Working CAD / TC knowledge: CATIA V5 R17 / Siemens
• DFM, DFA,DTC, DFMEA, QC story
• Development of system for the departmental processes to ensure adherence to MPDS (Mahindra Product Development System)
• To build organization structure for EES team and development of team members
• Liasioning – Internal (various aggregate members) for ensuring synchronizing of priorities and External (Vendors) for timely part development
