As a member of the senior management team, this role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership — overseeing Program Management, Business Operations, Administration, and Legal functions, while working closely with the CTO/CEO on technology commercialization.

Job Description
Strategic & Leadership
  • Serve as a core member of the senior management team, contributing to the Hub's long-term strategic planning.
  • Build and lead high-performing teams across Program Management, Business Operations, Administration, and Legal, ensuring smooth coordination across functions.
  • Champion a culture of high performance, accountability, and compliance-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Benchmark Business Operations OKRs against industry best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Own execution of the annual business operations plan, including budgeted program targets and fund deployment.
  • Design and execute Calls-for-Proposal (CFPs) across Entrepreneurship Development, Technology Development, and Skill Development tracks.
  • Partner with the CTO to ensure efficiency and effectiveness at every stage — from CFP design through sanction letter issuance — and to identify problem statements that translate into product development and commercialization opportunities.
  • Monitor and track investments made in portfolio startups.
  • Identify and pursue commercialization opportunities for technologies emerging from the Hub, developing proposals in consultation with the CTO, CEO, and legal experts.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination with IITB departments, expediting and resolving project-related matters.
Process & Governance

  • Ensure compliance is embedded in decision-making and cultivate the same discipline across the team.
