You will manage SEO teams, lead audits and roadmaps, present strategic recommendations to clients, and collaborate with development teams to implement improvements. International client experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of SEO experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency environment.
• Minimum 4+ years leading SEO teams.
• Proven success managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong technical SEO expertise.
• Experience handling enterprise-level websites and large-scale SEO projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and SEO automation tools.
• Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with international clients is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing multiple client accounts, leading SEO teams, presenting stakeholders, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Practice Leadership

• Own and scale the SEO function across the agency.
• Define best practices, frameworks, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Build, mentor, and lead a team of SEO specialists, content strategists, and analysts.
• Evaluate and implement new SEO technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities.

Client Strategy & Delivery

• Lead SEO strategy for enterprise and mid-market clients across multiple industries.
• Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and growth opportunity assessments.
• Develop customized SEO roadmaps aligned with client business objectives.
• Ensure successful delivery of SEO retainers, projects, and consulting engagements.
• Present performance reviews and strategic recommendations to clients.

Client Relationship Management

• Act as a strategic advisor to key clients.
• Participate in client pitches, proposals, and business presentations.
• Support account management teams with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Drive client retention through measurable growth and proactive consulting.

Business Growth & Revenue Contribution

• Support new business acquisition by participating in sales discussions and RFP responses.
• Help develop SEO service offerings and pricing models.
• Identify opportunities to expand agency revenue from existing clients.
• Collaborate with leadership to set SEO growth targets and KPIs.

Technical SEO & Website Performance

• Lead technical SEO audits and implementation plans.
• Ensure best practices in indexing, crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site health.
• Work with development teams to implement recommendations.

Content & Authority Building

• Guide content strategy based on search intent and customer journeys.
• Develop topical authority frameworks for clients.
• Oversee digital PR, outreach, and link acquisition initiatives.
• Ensure content aligns with E-E-A-T principles and business goals.

AI Search & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

• Develop strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity.
• Build Omnichannel Relevancy strategies for brands.
• Monitor shifts in search behavior and adapt client strategies accordingly.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

• Establish KPI dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, leads, conversions, share of voice, and revenue impact.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly executive-level reporting.
