National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NBC Bearings) is seeking a seasoned quality leader for Receiving Inspection across multiple labs.
The role focuses on steering GRN clearance, reducing nonconformances, guiding supplier improvements and ensuring aligned measurement practices with standard quality systems. Responsibilities include integrating RI with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and R&D, driving audits, and deploying learning modules while maintaining documentation and dashboards
To ensure smooth working of all Receiving Inspection labs with timely clearance of material to avoid any Line Loss by monitoring adequate inspection equipment’s, manpower etc.
To lead & drive Receipt Inspection activity of all labs and ensure timely upgradation of systemic compliance requirement towards NEI Quality standards.
To plan alignment between NEI and Suppliers for desired qualitative output, identify improvement opportunities to meet them and drive process improvements.
To establish inspection practices and measurement harmonization with existing as well newly developed components/suppliers and drive audits of existing products to develop supplier capability & process.
To support internal stake holders like Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Quality, R & D, NPD teams, SD, SQA & other external stake holders.

Supporting with containment actions in case of shop floor NC observations, sample inspection (components) from analysis phase and supporting with resolution of quality issues

Upgrading existing IT infrastructure and improving efficiency of RI operations by digital interventions

Graduate in Engineering (B.Tech. or B.E.), preferably from Mechanical and Automotive stream
12+ years of experience in Automotive industry, in Quality Assurance function and 8+ years in receiving inspection and supplier improvement role.
Further preference will be given to association with bearing manufacturing industry.
