Uni Deritend Limited -A Neterwala Group Company is seeking a manufacturing leader to develop and execute strategies that maximize productivity and profitability at the Bhandara site. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, QA and other teams to deliver aligned manufacturing plans and budgets.

The candidate will drive lean initiatives, implement PFMEA/PPAP/FAIR practices, oversee production planning, preventive maintenance, safety, and customer audits

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments to align manufacturing plans.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives (Six Sigma, process optimization) to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Drive production planning and optimize with JIT, Kanban, and pull systems.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and compliance with safety regulations; promote a safe work environment.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and provide updates on performance, challenges and opportunities.
• Assist in new product launches, production and engineering improvements, and quality initiatives.
• Lead monthly safety meetings and drive corrective actions for safety items.
• Develop and manage operational improvements and lead union management & wage settlements.

• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate manufacturing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of manufacturing plans.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization, to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. Drive production planning and achieve operational efficiencies with tools such as JIT, KANBAN, Pull System etc.
• Must have in-depth exposure to PFMEA / PPAP / FAIR etc.
• Responsible for production planning and ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out at regular intervals.
• Manage customer audits and ensure necessary corrective actions are taken. Manager customer queries and guide them through the manufacturing process and operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe work environment and implementing appropriate training programs and safety measures.
• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, controlling costs and expenses while optimizing resource utilization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing, implementing innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness and drive growth.
• Maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on manufacturing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• Assists in new product launches, production and engineering improvements, product quality.
• Works closely with peers to focus on continuous improvements that will benefit Operations.
• Lead and facilitate monthly safety meetings and lead/assist in the resolution of safety items.
• Proficient in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Leadership

The candidate will need to show leadership ability to drive transformational cultural change to enable the business to deliver operational efficiency. Ability to develop and implement long term operational strategies. Demonstrate ability to identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure effective functioning.

Travel & Mobility

The position is based in Bhandara, Nagpur, frequent travel is anticipated.
