Kapiva is hiring a Head of Logistics & Warehouse to own the end-to-end outbound logistics network for its fast-growing D2C and omni-channel business in Bengaluru. You will manage SDD/NDD networks, RTO reduction, 3PL partnerships, and warehouse/fulfillment operations to ensure reliable and cost-efficient delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8–15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution or supply chain operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in D2C, e-commerce or FMCG logistics, with direct ownership of SDD/NDD networks and RTO management.
• Hands-on experience managing 3PL and last-mile courier partnerships at scale.
• Working knowledge of WMS, TMS and ERP systems; experience driving system-led visibility improvements.
• Experience in high-growth, fast-paced D2C or consumer brand environments is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end SDD/NDD distribution network strategy, including network design and carrier mix.
• Drive RTO reduction through root-cause analysis and performance management.
• Manage 3PL and last-mile courier partnerships with SLA and rate cards.
• Oversee warehouse and fulfillment operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and FEFO compliance.
• Lead logistics cost optimization across freight, last‑mile, and reverse logistics.
• Collaborate on inbound/outbound flow planning and S&OP cycles.
• Partner with Commercial and Customer Experience to align delivery promises with customer satisfaction metrics.
• Build and lead a regional logistics team and track KPIs for leadership.
• Drive WMS/TMS improvements for visibility and control.

Role Summary

Kapiva is hiring a Head of Logistics & wareshouse to own the end-to-end outbound logistics network for a fast-growing Ayurvedic/wellness D2C and omni-channel business. This role d carries full ownership of the Same-Day Delivery (SDD) and Next-Day Delivery (NDD) networks, complaints and enquiry control, RTO (Return-to-Origin) reduction, 3PL/courier partnerships, and warehouse/fulfillment operations. The role partners closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure reliable, cost-efficient, and scalable delivery performance as Kapiva grows across channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end SDD/NDD distribution network strategy, including network design, hub placement, and carrier mix, to maximize on-time delivery and minimize cost per shipment
• Drive RTO (Return-to-Origin) reduction through root-cause analysis, address-quality initiatives, and courier performance management
• Manage and scale relationships with 3PL and last-mile courier partners (e.g. ElasticRun) - negotiating SLAs, rate cards, and capacity commitments
• Oversee warehouse and fulfillment center operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, dispatch TATs, and FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) compliance
• Lead logistics cost optimization programs across freight, last-mile, and reverse logistics
• Partner with Procurement and Manufacturing on inbound/outbound flow planning and participate actively in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cycles
• Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Experience teams to align delivery promise, serviceability, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Build and lead a high-performing logistics team, including regional ops managers and warehouse leads
• Establish and track key logistics KPIs (SDD/NDD %, RTO %, TAT adherence, cost per order) and report performance to leadership
• Drive technology and process improvements in logistics systems (WMS/TMS) for better visibility and control

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
• 8-15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (AGM/GM/Head level)
• Proven experience in D2C, e-commerce, or FMCG logistics, ideally with direct ownership of SDD/NDD networks and RTO management
• Hands-on experience managing 3PL and last-mile courier partnerships at scale
• Working knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems; experience driving system-led visibility improvements
• Experience operating in a high-growth, fast-paced D2C or consumer brand environment is a strong plus
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability, comfortable working with SDD/NDD, RTO, and cost-per-order metrics
• Skilled negotiator with experience structuring courier and 3PL contracts
• Network design and capacity-planning expertise
• Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management across Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial
• Strong people leadership — able to build, mentor, and scale a logistics team across regions
• Clear, structured communicator, comfortable presenting performance updates to senior leadership
