Lenskart, Asia’s leading eyewear brand, seeks a strategic and hands-on Frames Manufacturing Leader to head end-to-end operations. You will oversee materials planning, production, quality, and process excellence across multiple facilities, ensuring world-class quality, speed, and scale in frame production.

Ideal candidate has 15+ years in manufacturing with senior leadership experience, and a proven ability to scale capacity, implement lean systems, and drive cost and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
• Strong exposure to precision manufacturing (eyewear/electronics/consumer durables preferred).
• Proven track record of scaling capacity and delivering cost/quality improvements.
• Deep understanding of materials, processes, and quality systems for metal/acetate frames.
• Technologically forward mindset with automation and digital analytics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations for frames across multiple facilities.
• Build a multi-year roadmap to scale capacity, productivity, and automation.
• Drive operational excellence through lean, TPM, and Industry 4.0.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Merchandising for manufacturability and launches.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Develop and mentor plant leadership teams and promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor standards.
• Benchmark against international teams to bring innovation to frame manufacturing.

Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on manufacturing leader to head our Frames Manufacturing operations. The role will oversee end-to-end manufacturing—from raw material planning and production to quality assurance and process excellence—ensuring world-class product quality, speed, and efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations for frames across multiple facilities, ensuring alignment with global production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Build and execute a multi-year roadmap to scale capacity, productivity, and automation in line with Lenskart’s global growth.
• Drive operational excellence through lean practices, TPM, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 adoption.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Merchandising teams to ensure manufacturability and timely launches of new collections.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and maintenance functions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Build and develop high-performing plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor standards.
• Partner with international teams to benchmark global best practices and bring innovation into Lenskart’s frame manufacturing ecosystem.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale operations.
• Strong exposure to precision manufacturing (eyewear, electronics, auto components, or consumer durables preferred).
• Proven track record of scaling capacity, implementing lean systems, and delivering cost and quality improvements.
• Deep understanding of materials, processes, and quality systems related to metal and acetate frames.
• Technologically forward mindset — comfortable driving automation, digital manufacturing, and process analytics.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
