Job Title: Head of Execution – AI Datacenters (Civil, Core & Shell Specialist)
Department: AI Datacenter
Reports To: Head AI Datacenter / SVP
We are seeking an aggressive, field-proven Head of Execution with deep civil, structural engineering, and fast-track construction expertise to lead the physical site buildout of our high-density AI datacenter facilities.
This role requires a specialist who can execute mega-scale Core & Shell infrastructure, oversee Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and modular steel structures, execute heavy civil foundation works, and seamlessly integrate high-density MEP/liquid cooling infrastructure for 100 kW to 150 kW+ per rack deployments.
Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) & Fast-Track Steel: Drive the end-to-end erection of large-span Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), structural steel superstructures, and composite floor systems optimized for rapid deployment.
Heavy Civil & Foundation Works: Direct mass earthworks, deep foundation systems (piling, grade beams, raft slabs), and structural concrete execution designed to handle extreme localized dynamic and static loads.
High-Density Load Engineering: Ensure strict civil execution compliance for elevated floor loading capacities required by liquid-filled cooling manifolds, heavy transformers, and ultra-dense GPU rack arrays.
Building Envelope & Site Infrastructure: Oversee total shell delivery, including insulated metal panels (IMP), high-rated security perimeters, acoustic barriers, storm-water drainage networks, and heavy-equipment access roads.
Piping & Mechanical Integration: Interface civil construction directly with primary/secondary fluid loop installations, heavy chiller yards, and coolant distribution unit (CDU) concrete pads.
High-Density Deployment: Oversee site preparation and infrastructure handoff for GPU clusters (NVIDIA H100/B200/GB200 classes) running at 100 kW to 150 kW+ per rack.
Utility & Substation Works: Drive the civil buildouts for on-site high-voltage substations, generator yards, fuel storage vaults, and underground duct banks.
Contractor Management: Directly manage General Contractors (GCs), structural steel fabricators, PEB vendors, civil subcontractors, and third-party quality control agencies.
Commissioning Support: Lead structural and environmental handovers to MEP teams, supporting Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning protocols.
EHS & Schedule Control: Enforce zero-harm site safety standards (OSHA/local regulations) while leveraging critical-path management to meet tight fast-track schedules.
Experience :15 to 20 years in large-scale civil/structural construction management, with 5+ years specifically leading hyperscale datacenter or heavy industrial site execution.
Civil/Structural Expertise: Hands-on mastery of PEB erection, structural steel framing, heavy raft/pile foundation execution, and fast-track civil engineering.
AI Data Center Knowledge: Practical field delivery for 100 kW–150 kW+ rack densities, high-load liquid cooling piping runs, and GPU data hall layouts.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (P.E. license or Chartered Engineer status strongly preferred).
Key Skills: Heavy civil QA/QC, PEB vendor delivery management, Primavera P6 / MS Project, Level 1–5 commissioning handoff, and BIM/Navisworks conflict resolution.
