Job summary

Siemens Energy Information Technology is seeking a Software Developer to design and deliver JEDOX-based analytics, planning, and data integration solutions for enterprise use. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and external consultants in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software delivery, business applications, analytics solutions, and data integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise business applications, ETL solutions, and data migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver JEDOX-based planning, reporting, and analytics solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, engineers, and external consultants to analyze requirements and implement scalable technical solutions.
• Develop, test, review, and maintain application code while ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Drive ETL, data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives supporting strategic business objectives.
• Conduct peer reviews and continuously improve application quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Support Agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
• Contribute to automation and process optimization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

As a Software Developer within Siemens Energy Information Technology, you will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and external consultants to deliver enterprise-grade analytics and performance management solutions. Your day may involve designing and implementing JEDOX solutions, reviewing code, collaborating with global teams on data integration initiatives, and supporting business-critical applications.

You will leverage your expertise in ETL, data modeling, analytics, and reporting technologies to build scalable solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working in an Agile environment, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software delivery, business applications, analytics solutions, and data integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise business applications, ETL solutions, and data migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience building analytics and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise planning and analytics platforms such as JEDOX, Anaplan, TM1, Infor, or Essbase.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The team works closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and external partners to build scalable platforms that support business transformation and operational excellence.
