Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering software, analytics, and data integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise applications, ETL solutions, and data migrations.
• Solid SDLC knowledge, Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver JEDOX-based planning, reporting, and analytics solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, engineers, and external consultants to analyze requirements and implement scalable technical solutions.
• Develop, test, review, and maintain application code while ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Drive ETL, data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives supporting strategic business objectives.
• Conduct peer reviews and continuously improve application quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Support Agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
• Contribute to automation and process optimization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

As a Software Developer within Siemens Energy Information Technology, you will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and external consultants to deliver enterprise-grade analytics and performance management solutions. What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software delivery, business applications, analytics solutions, and data integration projects.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise business applications, ETL solutions, and data migration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience building analytics and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning and analytics platforms such as JEDOX, Anaplan, TM1, Infor, or Essbase.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
