Verdant Impact in India is seeking a Head of Business for a cattle feed production plant to own the venture end to end, from plant setup to strategic growth.

You will lead operations, supply chain, sales, marketing and distribution across Rajasthan and beyond, build lasting customer relationships, and drive full P&L with a high-performing team. This role blends factory floor work with farmer engagement to create value beyond quarterly metrics.

About This Role

India has 300 million bovines and the world's largest milk economy. But ask any smallholder farmer why her desi cow underperforms, and the answer is rarely genetics. It's nutrition.Feed is the single largest cost on a dairy farm and the single largest untapped lever for productivity.We're building a cattle feed production plant designed around indigenous breeds, not imported formulations.We're looking for someone to own it end to end.

Who This Is For

This is a P&L leadership role, not a functional one. You'll build a business, not run a department.Who this is for: someone who has scaled a manufacturing or agri-business unit, is comfortable with both a factory floor and a farmer's courtyard, and wants their work to compound into something larger than a quarterly number.

Indigenous cattle are not a nostalgia project. They are centuries of climate adaptation, and they deserve nutrition science built for them.
