The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of IT Applications**to join our EIT team. The position is based out of Pune.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Roadmap : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges. Develop an Integrated Application Roadmap, aligning it with business outcomes and IT capabilities.
• Business Relationship Management : Establish strong relationships with business units, acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Regularly engage with business stakeholders, manage expectations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Transformation and Innovation : Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that can drive transformation and innovation. Collaborate with business units to develop and implement technology-driven initiatives driving productivity and efficiencies
• Service Delivery and Operational Management - Ensuring the delivery of IT Application services meets the agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Managing IT Delivery projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing project tasks, managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• - Implement and maintain ITIL best practices and processes Oversee the incident management process (Including major Incidents), ensuring timely resolution of issues Lead problem management activities to identify root causes and prevent recurrence Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, software development, and business stakeholders, to define and deliver IT services. Developing and implementing service improvement plans to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards, including data privacy, security, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• MBA degree is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to assess service performance and make data-driven recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• At least 15 years of experience leading Global IT Applications teams in Commercial, Project Delivery, Business Analytics, Finance, Procurement and HR functions.
• Has worked in a Global and multi-cultural environment.
• Proactive approach to drive change and improving user experience.
• Experience in driving transformation and innovation.
• Exposure to Digital/AI ways of working preferred.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
• Excellent People Management skills, develop Talent and growth.
