Role overview: We're seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function. The role will be responsible for HR strategy, employee engagement, employee relations, statutory compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and effective people practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle from manpower planning, recruitment, and onboarding to performance management, career development, transfers, promotions, and exit.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and systems aligned with business requirements.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning and talent management.
Employee Relations
  • Act as the key point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Ensure timely resolution of employee issues.
  • Build a positive, transparent, and employee-friendly work environment.
  • Manage employee relations across warehouses, hubs, transport operations, and other frontline locations.
Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, wages, labour welfare, contract labour, and other applicable compliances.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and statutory authorities when required.
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and close identified gaps.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead recruitment for corporate, operational, and frontline workforce requirements.
  • Develop manpower plans based on business growth and operational requirements.
  • Strengthen hiring channels for blue-collar and logistics/warehouse talent.
Performance & Talent Management
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, and appraisal processes.
  • Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning for critical positions.
  • Develop learning and development initiatives based on business and capability requirements.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives across corporate and operational locations.
  • Build a strong, performance-oriented, and inclusive culture.
  • Improve employee retention, communication, and overall employee experience.
HR MIS & Analytics
  • Maintain HR dashboards and track key metrics such as headcount, attrition, absenteeism, hiring, manpower cost, and productivity.
  • Provide HR insights and recommendations to management for business decision-making.
Candidate Profile
  • Education: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.
  • Experience: 15+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, or allied industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and translate business requirements into effective HR strategies.
Ideal Candidate:

A senior HR professional who can independently lead the end-to-end HR function, manage both corporate and frontline workforce requirements, ensure statutory compliance, strengthen employee engagement, and align HR practices with business needs.
