Job summary

Evos Buildcon is seeking a strategic and dynamic General Manager / Deputy General Manager - HR to head the HR function in Odisha. You will align people strategies with aggressive business growth for premium real estate and construction projects, overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, culture, and leadership development across a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• MBA in HR / PGDM from a recognized institution.
• 12-18 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors is highly preferred.

• Strategic HR & Organization Design: Align HR strategies with business goals; design scalable structures and KPI frameworks.

Real Estate Experience is Mandatory

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic General Manager / Deputy General Manager - HR to head our human resource's function. In this role, you will be the architect of our people strategy, aligning HR initiatives with our aggressive business growth in the premium real estate and construction sector in Odisha. You will oversee everything from talent acquisition for massive project sites to implementing robust performance management frameworks, shaping organizational culture, and driving leadership development across a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs & Deliverables)

• Strategic HR & Organization Design: Align HR strategies with business goals; design and implement scalable organizational structures, KPI frameworks, and performance scorecard systems.
• Talent Acquisition & Management: Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate leadership, engineering, sales, and site operations teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Performance & Capability Building: Drive the annual performance appraisal cycle, map competencies, and design targeted leadership development programs to build a robust internal talent pipeline.
• Employee Relations & Compliance: Foster a high-performance culture with high employee engagement; ensure absolute adherence to statutory compliances and labour laws applicable to the real estate/construction industry.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: MBA in Human Resources / PGDM or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 1218 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Strategic HR, Performance Management Systems (PMS), Change Management, Labor Laws, and HRMS/ERP tools.
• Core Traits: Exceptional leadership, high emotional intelligence, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
