Job summary

Aspect Foundation seeks a Head-Foundation/CSR to shape a strong institutional platform for social impact in Mumbai. Lead strategy, governance, and programme delivery with senior leadership oversight.

The role requires extensive CSR leadership, stakeholder management with NGOs and government bodies, and a track record of large-scale impact programmes and budget governance.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in social work, development studies, business administration, sustainability, public policy or a related discipline.
• Preferably 12–18 years of relevant experience, with substantial leadership experience in CSR, corporate foundations, social development, NGOs or impact-led organisations.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and leading large-scale CSR or social impact programmes.
• Experience managing significant CSR budgets and multiple implementation partners.
• Strong understanding of CSR legislation, governance frameworks, sustainability and ESG concepts.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership, boards/trustees, government agencies and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive CSR/Foundation strategy, plans and budgets.
• Identify priority social themes, geographies and opportunities for sustainable impact.
• Design and oversee CSR programmes across education, healthcare, livelihood, environment, sports and community development.
• Monitor programme performance, outcomes, KPIs and social impact.

• Establish MIS, dashboards and impact measurement frameworks.
• Present CSR performance, budgets, utilization and impact reports to senior management and the Board.

POSITION SUMMARY The Head Foundation / CSR will have the opportunity to build and shape Aspect Foundation into a strong institutional platform for social impact. The mandate goes beyond CSR compliance. The objective is to create a Foundation that combines purpose with professionalism, compassion with governance, and intent with measurable impact creating sustainable value for communities while reflecting the values and aspirations of Aspect Global.

Key Responsibilities:

CSR & Foundation Strategy

• Develop and drive short- and long-term CSR/Foundation strategy, plans and budgets.
• Identify priority social themes, geographies and opportunities for sustainable impact.

Programme Management & Impact

• Design and oversee CSR programmes across education, healthcare, livelihood, environment, sports and community development.
• Monitor programme performance, outcomes, KPIs and social impact.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, CSR Rules and applicable regulations.
• Establish effective processes for fund utilisation, documentation, audits and statutory reporting.

NGO & Strategic Partnerships

• Identify, evaluate and manage NGOs, social enterprises and implementation partners.
• Build partnerships with government bodies, institutions and other stakeholders.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Establish MIS, dashboards and impact measurement frameworks.
• Present CSR performance, budgets, utilisation and impact reports to senior management and the Board/Trustees.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key interface with the Chairman/Management, Board/Trustees, government authorities and external stakeholders.
• Represent the Foundation at relevant social impact and CSR forums.

Brand & Communication

• Strengthen the Foundations visibility, credibility and social impact communication.
• Coordinate with Corporate Communications/Marketing for impact reports and CSR initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead the Foundation/CSR team.
• Establish SOPs, processes, accountability and performance standards.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• POSTGRADUATE QUALIFICATION IN SOCIAL WORK, DEVELOPMENT STUDIES, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, SUSTAINABILITY, PUBLIC POLICY OR A RELATED DISCIPLINE.

• PREFERABLY 1218 YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE, WITH SUBSTANTIAL LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN CSR, CORPORATE FOUNDATIONS, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, NGOS OR IMPACT-LED ORGANISATIONS.

• DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND LEADING LARGE-SCALE CSR OR SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAMMES.

• EXPERIENCE MANAGING SIGNIFICANT CSR BUDGETS AND MULTIPLE IMPLEMENTATION PARTNERS.

• STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF CSR LEGISLATION, GOVERNANCE FRAMEWORKS, SUSTAINABILITY AND ESG CONCEPTS.

• EXPERIENCE INTERACTING WITH SENIOR LEADERSHIP, BOARDS/TRUSTEES, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
