Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Pune, India seeks a strategic Finance Leader to own and scale the finance function for India operations. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while strengthening controls and reporting across entities.

You will oversee payroll, treasury, and day‑to‑day finance ops and drive automation with AI-enabled solutions to support growth. Leadership of a high‑performing team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall finance function for India operations, providing strategic and operational financial leadership.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis to support organizational growth.
• Establish and strengthen accounting, compliance, financial controls, and reporting processes in line with applicable regulations.
• Oversee payroll, treasury, cash flow, and day-to-day finance operations.
• Formalize and manage intercompany financial operations and processes between the India and US entities.
• Drive the modernization and automation of finance processes through technology, systems, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Build scalable finance processes, policies, and controls to support the organization’s growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Hands‑on experience managing payroll, treasury, cash flow, and finance operations.
• Experience managing intercompany accounting and transactions, preferably across India‑US entities.
• Strong capability in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering.
• Experience implementing or optimizing finance systems, automation, and AI‑enabled finance processes.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing finance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
