Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee project/site finance activities. You will manage budgets, monitor costs, cash flows, and performance, and ensure timely MIS reports and monthly closings.

Coordinate with project teams, procurement, contracts, and corporate finance; ensure statutory, tax, and audit compliance; strengthen financial controls and risk management. 10–12 years in project finance with CA/CMA/MBA Finance or M.Com is required.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com. preferred
• 10–12 years in project finance, site finance, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, power, oil & gas or industrial projects
• Strong budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance knowledge
• Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage overall finance and accounting activities at the project/site level.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flows, and financial performance against approved plans.
• Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports, monthly closing, and financial analysis.
• Track project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, contracts, and corporate finance functions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and company financial policies.
• Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, advances, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor fixed assets, inventory, and working capital at the site.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
• Drive financial controls, governance, and risk management processes.
