Job summary

Adani Power Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance professional to manage all finance and accounting activities at the project/site level. The role focuses on budgeting, cost control, and timely financial reporting to support strategic decisions.

Seeking 10–12 years in project finance within manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, or power sectors, with strong SAP/ERP and MS Excel skills. The position entails governance, audits, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com.
• 10–12 years of experience in project finance, site finance, manufacturing, EPC, infrastructure, power, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall finance and accounting activities at the project/site level.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flows, and financial performance against approved plans.
• Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports, monthly closing, and financial analysis.
• Track project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement, contracts, and corporate finance functions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and company financial policies.
• Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, advances, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor fixed assets, inventory, and working capital at the site.
• Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
• Drive financial controls, governance, and risk management processes.
