Job summary

Prestige Group in Bengaluru is seeking an Engineering Transformation Lead to drive BIM-enabled processes and a master data strategy across the value chain. You’ll define functional requirements, oversee end-to-end technology implementation, and ensure adoption of new ways of working to align with business goals.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and partners, prioritize BIM use cases, and plan phased deployments while managing change and training to empower staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in real estate with owner firm in Engineering function.
• BTech / BE in Civil Engineering from a premier Engineering Institute.
• Certification in project management (e.g., AACE, PMI) would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize BIM use cases and collaboratively shape the transformation journey in close coordination with the Engineering Team
• Define the master data strategy (vendor master, service master, material master)
• Define the functional requirements and identify tools needed for enabling BIM use cases across the value chain (e.g., Document Management Tool, Engineering Design Tools, Sourcing Tool, Vendor Portal, Planning Tool, Field Data Applications)
• Design technology architecture and define integration requirements between various systems
• Evaluate and select appropriate partners for various tools
• Strategically plan implementation phases based on the current maturity level
• Develop training programs for internal employees and partner ecosystem as needed
• Monitor adoption of the transformed processes

At Prestige Group, we’re embarking on an Engineering Transformation Journey aimed at enhancing overall function efficiency. As the Engineering Transformation Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of this pivotal initiative. Your role involves understanding specific transformation requirements from a functional standpoint, identifying necessary technology interventions, overseeing end-to-end technology implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals, and managing change on the ground to facilitate the smooth adoption of new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize BIM use cases and collaboratively shape the transformation journey in close coordination with the Engineering Team
• Define the master data strategy (vendor master, service master, material master)
• Define the functional requirements and identify tools needed for enabling BIM use cases across the value chain (e.g., Document Management Tool, Engineering Design Tools, Sourcing Tool, Vendor Portal, Planning Tool, Field Data Applications)
• Design technology architecture and define integration requirements between various systems

Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of Engineering processes in real estate in an owner context
• Proficiency in BIM concepts; experience in BIM implementation would be advantageous
• Familiarity with digital tools across the value chain and the vendor ecosystem
• Should have implemented at least one Enterprise capability in Construction Tech. Experience in digital tool implementation would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP functionalities; experience in handling SAP integration would be useful
• Proven people management and change management skills
