Job summary

Sweco is seeking a BIM Digitalisation Specialist to develop, implement, and quality-assure BIM workflows across infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with Design Managers, Project Managers, and technical specialists to maximize BIM value across lifecycles.

Responsibilities include maintaining BIM procedures, coordinating digital models, and ensuring data exchange standards. You will also drive process improvements using AI, Power BI, automation, and Tekla/Grasshopper-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, architectural technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM experience on infrastructure and/or building projects.
• Hands-on Tekla Structures & Concrete experience.
• Strong parametric modelling skills with Grasshopper and Tekla.
• Good understanding of information management and BIM data structures.
• Experience with CDE platforms such as Trimble Connect or ACC.

As a BIM Digitalisation Specialist, you will play a central role in developing, implementing, and quality-assuring BIM processes across infrastructure projects. Working closely with Design Managers, Project Managers, and technical specialists, you will help ensure BIM delivers maximum value throughout project lifecycles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining BIM procedures, workflows, and standards.
• Creating drawings and ensuring compliance with classification and documentation standards.
• Coordinating and quality-assuring digital models, data structures, and BIM deliverables.
• Managing information exchange and data-sharing processes across disciplines.
• Working with classification systems and ensuring consistency of project information.
• Supporting process optimization initiatives through AI, Power BI, automation, and API integrations.
• Developing and maintaining parametric modelling solutions using Tekla Structures and Grasshopper.
• Ensuring digital project deliverables meet client requirements and project objectives.
• Contributing to internal and international BIM communities through knowledge sharing and best-practice development.
• Supporting digital transformation initiatives and strengthening collaboration between teams across Denmark and India.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with BIM in infrastructure and/or building projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Tekla Structure & Concrete.
• Strong expertise in parametric modelling using Grasshopper and Tekla.
• Good understanding of information management principles and BIM data structures.
• Experience working with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as:
• Trimble Connect
• Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Or similar platforms
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
