Job summary

Angel and Genie in India seeks an experienced Dyeing Production Lead to head the lab for shade development, color matching and recipe formulation. You will ensure lab-to-bulk shade reproducibility and approve recipes with SOPs for trials.

The role requires 15-20 years in dyeing production, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, ideally in zipper industries and poly threads. You will coordinate daily production planning and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Textile or Chemical engineering.
• 15-20 years in dyeing production with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in zipper industries and poly threads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dyeing laboratory for shade development, color matching and recipe formulation.
• Ensure accurate lab-to-bulk shade reproducibility.
• Approve dye recipes and maintain SOPs for lab trials.
• Manage testing of dyes, chemicals and auxiliaries before bulk production.
• Maintain records of shade approvals, lab dips and customer requirements.
• Oversee daily dyeing production planning with production and planning teams.
• Ensure timely execution of dyeing processes meeting quality standards.
• Monitor machine utilization, production output and process efficiency.
• Implement improvements to reduce re-dyeing, shade variation and wastage.
• Coordinate with EH&S teams to maintain safe working conditions.
