Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a promoter-led engineering client in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end design and development of complex equipment, including vacuum, gas delivery, and thermal systems.

You will drive product innovation and differentiation to create globally competitive equipment, while leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across mechanical, process, instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in equipment design and product development.
• Experience leading the complete product design lifecycle from concept through engineering, validation and manufacturing.
• Hands-on with CAD, CFD, ANSYS, thermal and flow simulations.
• Exposure to vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, semiconductor equipment, process equipment, or similar complex systems.
• Experience working with global customers, technology partners, and vendor ecosystems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering with 15+ years of experience in equipment design and product development. The individual should have proven expertise leading the complete product design lifecycle, from concept development through engineering, validation, and manufacturing, while managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. Strong hands-on experience with CAD, CFD, ANSYS, thermal and flow simulations, along with exposure to vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, semiconductor equipment, process equipment, or similar complex engineered systems, is essential. Experience working with global customers, technology partners, and vendor ecosystems will be highly preferred. Candidate should be open to a 6-day work week and travel approximately one week every month.
