Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end civil construction activities from project planning and initiation through execution and final completion.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans, construction schedules, and resource requirements.
• Plan and optimise manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for smooth project execution.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved timelines, budget, quality standards, and technical specifications.
• Lead, guide, and supervise project managers, engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site teams.
• Coordinate effectively with management, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor daily and overall project progress and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project requirements before and during execution.
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective utilisation of resources to control construction expenses.
• Oversee contractor performance, work progress, measurements, billing, and certification of completed work.
• Ensure proper maintenance of project documentation, measurement records, contractor bills, progress reports, and completion documents.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and operational challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular site visits and review meetings to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
• Provide regular project updates and progress reports to Management.

1. Purpose of the Role
