An application made for this job — a tailored resume and cover letter that speak straight to the posting.
Vantrock in Mumbai seeks a senior communications leader to own the brand, gatekeeping, and messaging across press and public affairs. You will shape the founder’s voice and ensure every word meets the house standard.
You will run the extraction pipeline with weekly founder interviews, manage the newsroom briefs, calendar planning, and a fast-turnaround story bank, aligning media strategy with business goals.
Vantrock is India’s independent, operator-led real assets platform — real assets only — with logistics and industrial the first phase of its growth. Founded by Anshul Singhal, Founder & CEO, who has built three institutional platforms from zero and is building the fourth on his own capital: 52 million sq ft delivered (32 million as developer, 20 million as contractor), 2,000+ acres acquired, 200+ buildings, two SEBI Category II funds run to a successful close, India’s first domestic warehousing AIF and India’s largest industrial real estate exit, all across his three prior platforms. The team is deliberately small and stays small — a few dozen people, every one a co-builder with a real stake in what the platform becomes. Ground breaks on the first 2 million sq ft in January. This seat is new.
About the Role
Vantrock is a new name attached to a long record. The people who will decide what it becomes are countable, and almost all of them will form a view from what it publishes and what is written about it before they meet anyone from it. The problem is not writing: the agency on retainer carries a network of former journalists, and the platform’s own AI layer drafts anything within the hour. The problem is that the material is locked inside the founder, the pillar heads and the industry. Somebody has to sit with the founder every week on the record, walk the sites, turn it into one-page briefs, chase them through the newsroom, hold every word to the standard, and get the piece into the press and the feed in days. Then somebody has to be the platform’s voice when a journalist calls. Logistics and industrial real estate in India has a great deal of money in it and almost no one speaking for it with authority. We intend to own that conversation. This seat runs all of it.

How You Will Work
The pipeline runs Capture, Mine, Brief, Write, Gate, Produce, Publish, and you own every step but the writing of long form. One gate, one standard: canon, tone, claims register, before design. Mumbai and the sites, in person. Judgement is written down. You will be asked for the number, not the activity: earned coverage in the titles that matter, newsletter subscribers from the people we want to reach, the founder’s reach among named audiences, and how fast the pipe runs. If a number is bad you will be backed while you fix it, and told the truth quickly.
Cultural Fit
We're building Vantrock over a decade, not a funding cycle. We're looking for people who treat technology as the default answer rather than a supplement, who want to be co-builders of the platform rather than employees executing instructions, and who are comfortable saying "I don't know" and "I was wrong." If you want a defined role with defined edges, this isn't the right seat. If you want to help build an institution from zero, it might be.
