Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant (ORC) to independently lead the ORC workstream for a US-based implementation. You will own requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support across the ORC module.

The role requires strong ORC expertise, stakeholder management and collaboration with technical teams to ensure successful delivery. Offshore India delivery and US-based client exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of HCM experience with at least 4+ years in ORC.
• Experience leading ORC workstreams and end-to-end implementations.
• Strong requirements gathering and solution design skills.
• Experience with ORC security and approvals.
• Experience coordinating with technical teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Independently own and lead the ORC workstream from requirements through go-live.
• Lead client workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Configure ORC modules including job requisitions, career sites and CSP.
• Configure and maintain ORC security roles and approval hierarchies.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment and hypercare support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for integrations.
• Provide training, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant (ORC) to independently lead and deliver the Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) workstream for a US-based Oracle Fusion HCM implementation. The selected candidate will serve as the primary ORC SME and will be responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The consultant must be capable of owning the ORC track end-to-end with minimal supervision while working directly with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required

• Independently own and lead the Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) workstream from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare, serving as the primary ORC SME for the project.
• Lead client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions.
• Act as the primary ORC SME and trusted advisor for recruiting transformation and best practices.
• Configure and implement ORC module including Recruiting Types, Job Requisitions, Career Sites, Candidate Experience, Job Applications, Candidate Selection Processes (CSP), Job Offers, Offer Approval Rules, Recruiting Security, Talent Communities and Workflow approvals
• Configure and maintain Oracle Recruiting Booster capabilities, including two-way candidate messaging (SMS/Email), Candidate Experience events, automated interview scheduling, and Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) recruiting skills. Coordinate with technical teams and third-party vendors for SMS gateway integrations
• Design and configure end-to-end recruiting processes including requisition approval, candidate screening, interview management, offer management, and hiring workflows.
• Configure recruiting workflows, approvals, candidate lifecycle, and hiring processes.
• Configure and maintain ORC security roles, recruiting security profiles, user access controls, and approval hierarchies.
• Support integration discussions with Core HR, Hiring Manager, and onboarding processes.
• Provide functional expertise to support the technical team in data migration, data conversion, Reports and Dashboards.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover, and hypercare support activities.
• Collaborate with technical, reporting, integration, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and drive resolution activities.
• Provide user training, solution documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Preferred Skills

• Oracle HCM ORC Certification
• Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion Core HR and hiring lifecycle processes
• Experience supporting US-based recruiting transformations
• Experience supporting US recruiting processes and collaborating with Talent Acquisition stakeholders
