Job summary

Oracle is seeking an experienced HCM consultant in Chennai to support contractor-billable projects across HCM Cloud implementations. You will bring deep knowledge of hire-to-retire processes, drive module configurations, and contribute to requirements gathering, design, testing and go-live activities.

The role requires 6+ years in HCM with at least two end-to-end implementations, expertise in Time and Labor, Absence Management or Payroll, and strong client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HCM with 2 end-to-end implementations.
• Deep knowledge of hire-to-retire processes.
• Expertise in at least 2 modules with Core HR.
• Experience in Time and Labor, Absence, Payroll, Benefits, etc.
• Experience in HR Helpdesk, Recruiting Cloud & Learning Cloud is a plus.
• Strong client-facing, requirement gathering and go-live experience.
• Leadership, planning and mentoring capabilities.

• Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Mentor teammates and provide status updates to Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• The candidate is expected to have a sound domain knowledge in HCM covering the hire to retire cycle. S/he must have been a part of at least 2 end to end HCM Cloud implementations.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in HCM Applications with at least 2 end to end implementation experience.
• The candidate must have expert knowledge in any of the 2 modules along with Core HR module -
• Time and Labor
• Absence Management
• Payroll
• Benefits
• Compensation
• Talent Management
• Experience in additional modules like HR Helpdesk, Recruiting Cloud & Learning Cloud will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should be well-versed in approvals (transaction console & BPM), Application Security & Fast Formulas for various modules.
• Candidate should have worked with at least one of these legislations ie. US, UK, Middle East, APAC, Africa, Mexico and / or Latin America.
• The candidate should have been in client facing roles and interacted with customers in requirement gathering workshops, design, configuration, testing and go-live.
• Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, personal drive, flexibility, team player, problem solving, influencing, and negotiating skills and organizational awareness and sensitivity, engagement delivery, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing and client management.
• Good leadership capability with strong planning and follow up skills, mentorship, Work Allocation, monitoring and status updates to Project Manager
• S/he should have completed at least 2 projects in the modules mentioned above.
• Assist in the identification, assessment, and resolution of complex functional issues/problems. Interact with client frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables
