Job summary

Staffing Services is seeking an experienced software engineer with a strong background in embedded networking and Wi‑Fi technologies for onsite work in Chennai. The role requires 8+ years in software development, including 5+ years in RDKB/OpenWRT/Wi‑Fi, with solid C/C++/Python skills and Linux networking expertise.

The candidate will contribute to driver and middleware development, work with Yocto/Open Source environments, and collaborate across teams to debug and bring up networking boards on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering required.
• 8+ years in software development; 5+ years in core RDKB, prpl, OpenWRT, WiFi development.
• Strong experience in C/Linux/Networking; some engineers with C++.
• Experience in Yocto, Open Source, middleware, WiFi driver and application development.
• Understanding of TR068, USP, Firewall, GPON, DOCSIS, FWA.
• Experience with Broadcom, MaxLinear, Qualcomm and MediaTek broadband/wifi chipsets.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting of real-time networking systems; board bring-up testing.
• Strong skills in C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting; good communication; on-site work mandatory.

• Mandatory Skills and Experience:
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 year of experience in software development. 5+ years in core RDKB, prpl, OpenWRT, Wi Fi development
• Strong experience in C/Linux/Networking. Some engineers are needed with C++
