Job summary

Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs in Bengaluru seeks an experienced RDK-B Architect to lead end-to-end broadband gateway (CPE) software architecture. You will drive platform integration across chip vendors and align with operator requirements for performance, scalability, and reliability.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise in C/C++, embedded Linux and Yocto, plus strong know-how of RDK-B, networking protocols, and deliverables across QA and product teams.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in C/C++ and embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience with RDK-B platform.
• Experience with Yocto / embedded build systems.
• Strong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, routing, NAT/firewall, and broadband gateways.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end RDK-B architecture for broadband gateway/CPE programs.
• Define system design, layering, upgrade strategy, and extension mechanisms.
• Lead integration with SoC/vendor SDKs (Broadcom, Airoha/MediaTek, Qualcomm).
• Routing, bridging, NAT/firewall, DNS/DHCP.
• Wi‑Fi management and optimization.
• TR-069, WebPA, USP provisioning frameworks.
• Define and manage Yocto-based build systems, meta layers, and release pipelines.
• Optimize system performance (memory, boot time, stability).
• Support certification, field debugging, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and vendors for successful delivery.
• Represent the organization in RDK community engagements where applicable.
• Drive platform security aspects (secure boot, firmware upgrade strategy).

Experience: 15+ years of experience in embedded and broadband eco systems

We are looking for an experienced RDK-B Architect to lead the design and delivery of broadband gateway (CPE) solutions.
