Job summary

Assetze is seeking a skilled Hardware Technician (L1/L2) in Bengaluru to repair laptops and desktops, troubleshoot at board level, perform component replacements, soldering and diagnostics.

The role involves using multimeters, soldering stations, hot-air rework, and testing to ensure devices are fully functional after service. Strong hands-on hardware repair experience required, with good documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in laptop/desktop hardware repair.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and electronic components.
• Hands-on experience with motherboard-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong soldering and desoldering skills.
• Experience with LCD/display and motherboard replacement.

Responsibilities

• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of laptop and desktop motherboards.
• Carry out soldering and desoldering of electronic components, connectors, charging ports, ICs, and other motherboard components.
• Perform motherboard diagnosis, component replacement, and board-level repair.
• Diagnose and repair motherboard-related faults.
• Perform LCD/display screen replacement, including display panel, display cable, backlight, and related components.
• Perform motherboard replacement, RAM/SSD upgrades, battery replacement, keyboard, touchpad, fan, speaker, and charging-port replacement.
• Use multimeters, soldering stations, hot-air rework stations, and other diagnostic tools for hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform post-repair testing and quality checks to ensure devices are fully functional.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at the component/board level, diagnosing hardware faults, performing repairs, and ensuring devices are fully functional after servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of laptop and desktop motherboards.
• Carry out soldering and desoldering of electronic components, connectors, charging ports, ICs, and other motherboard components.
• Perform motherboard diagnosis, component replacement, and board‑level repair.
• Diagnose and repair motherboard‑level faults.
• Perform LCD/display screen replacement, including display panel, display cable, backlight, and related components.
• Perform motherboard replacement, RAM/SSD upgrades, battery replacement, keyboard, touchpad, fan, speaker, and charging‑port replacement.
