Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced resource to lead our software solutions design team. The role involves leading a team of software developers with a focus on designing scalable software solutions for smart energy meters. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and proven leadership skills to drive innovation, excellence and deliver state of the art software solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

1. Lead a team of software developers to design, develop, deploy and maintain scalable software solutions for smart energy meters.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide innovative solutions to address diverse customer requirements using state of the art technologies.
3. Provide technology leadership to the team through knowledge dissemination and training.
4. Build solutions with agility for ensuring faster time to market.
5. Focus on agile development of HES, MDM and analytics to address the growing market demand.
6. Mobile application development as a part of the solution offering.

Functional / Technical Competencies

1. Should have sound knowledge of smart metering head end system (HES), meter data management (MDM), mobile application and meter data analytics. Should be an expert on all the relevant programming languages and tools.
2. Should have sound knowledge of DMS and OMS.
3. Should have worked on cellular communication based M2M solutions.
4. Should have working knowledge of scalable IoT solutions.
5. Should have a good understanding of the entire software product development lifecycle.
6. Should have worked on energy related software solutions.
7. Should have sound knowledge of programming languages, database, web applications, cybersecurity, AI for analytics, relevant IEC/IS standards etc.
8. Knowledge of software solutions in the evolving new energy landscape would be an advantage.
