Job summary

Replus Engitech Private Limited. in Pune is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Designer to lead HV BMS hardware development from concept through certification.

You will drive hardware architecture, schematics and PCB layouts for battery systems, power electronics, control boards and sensors. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of hardware development, collaboration with software and integration teams, and ensuring EMI/EMC, DFMA and safety compliance across IEC61508 and AIS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in power electronics within a product design and development environment.
• Understanding of diagnostic techniques for cells and battery pack components.
• Experience in the design of High Voltage Battery Management systems (BMS), Battery chargers, SMPS design, DC-DC converters.
• Thorough knowledge of MOSFET and IGBT.
• Knowledge of schematic & simulation tools: OrCad, PSpice, LabVIEW, LTSpice.
• Experience with PCB layout design for Thermal, DFMA, functional Safety & EMI/EMC, ESD compliance.
• IEC61508, ISO11452, ISO10605 and AIS156, AIS004, AIS038 standards.
• Experience with power components selection.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete life cycle of HV BMS hardware from analysis and development to implementation and certification.
• Collaborate with development and integration teams to design automated testing systems.
• Design, develop, test & validate embedded hardware for battery systems and BMS including power electronics, control cards, IO boards, sensors, and wireless comms.
• Assist embedded software for power electronics projects.
• End-to-end ownership of electronics hardware design from spec to reliability validation.
• Prepare hardware architecture and schematics, and Gerber for PCB cards meeting IPC standards.
• Ensure validation/integration of Electrical, Electronics, Embedded Software & communication systems.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the complete life cycle of HV BMS hardware, from analysis and development to implementation, trouble shooting and certification. Identifying and finalizing the technologies, components and strategy for hardware development and keep abreast with the existing and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with the development and integration teams to design cutting-edge automated testing systems.
• Design, develop, test & validate necessary embedded hardwares for battery system and battery management system which includes power electronics/power supplies, control cards, IOs boards, communication boards, sensor integration, wireless communications, and battery management.
• Assist embedded software for power electronics projects.
• Should have competency to handle end to end electronic hardware development for various sub-systems.
• End-to-End ownership of Electronics Hardware Design from specification to design, prototype, reliability validation, and implementation.
• Prepare Hardware architecture battery system and battery management system and respective schematics, Gerber for various cards / PCB’s complying applicable IPC (PCB design) standards.
• Ensure the Validation and integration of Electrical, Electronics, Embedded Software & respective Communication systems/protocols for battery system and battery management system.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of demonstrated successful experience in power electronics within a product design and development

environment.

• Thorough knowledge of voltage-controlled devices like Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) and

Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT).

• Must have knowledge of schematic & simulation tools. (OrCad, PSpice, LabVIEW, LTSpice).
• Experience in PCB layout design to meet Thermal, DFMA, functional Safety & EMI/EMC, ESD compliance requirements

such as IEC61508, ISO11452, ISO10605 and industry Standards such as AIS156, AIS004, AIS038

• Experience with power components selectio
