We are looking for an experienced BMS Hardware Development Leader to drive the design, development and validation of next-generation Battery Management Systems for EV, ESS and advanced mobility applications.
Role & responsibilities
- Lead BMS hardware development from concept to SOP.
- Define hardware architecture and translate system requirements into hardware requirements.
- Lead HV/LV BMS hardware design, analog and mixed-signal circuit development.
- Work on cell voltage, current, temperature sensing, isolation monitoring and power supply circuits.
- Drive schematic design, circuit simulation, component selection and WCCA.
- Lead board bring-up, debugging, validation and product release.
- Drive EMI/EMC/ESD, environmental, thermal, vibration and HV testing.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, AIS 038, AIS 156, AIS 138 and relevant automotive standards.
- Participate in DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA and reliability assessments.
- Lead and mentor hardware engineers and coordinate with Software, System Testing, Manufacturing and Vehicle Integration teams.
- Interface with customers, suppliers and component/PCB vendors.
- Drive VAVE, cost optimization and field-failure resolution.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automotive Electronics or related discipline.
- 815 years of automotive electronics hardware development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BMS / EV Electronics / Power Electronics / PDU / related automotive electronics.
- Strong experience in analog & mixed-signal circuit design and automotive hardware architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Altium / ORCAD / PADS, LTSpice / PSpice or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262, DFMEA, FMEDA, WCCA, EMI/EMC and reliability engineering.
- Experience leading hardware development from prototype to SOP is preferred.
