Job summary

Edith Defence Systems Private Limited in Mumbai is offering a Hardware Design Internship. You will assist in the design and development of electronic systems for defense applications under senior engineers.

The role covers circuit design, schematic capture and PCB layout, with emphasis on power, EMI/EMC, and environmental factors. Candidates should be proficient with Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad or EasyEDA and be available for 6 months in-office.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic active and passive electronic components is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of PCB design principles and tools, or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or ModelSim for circuit- and system-level simulation.
• Strong interest in defense technology and willingness to learn about relevant standards and regulations.
• Hands‑on experience through electronics projects, laboratory work, or internships will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or EasyEDA is mandatory.
• Only graduates are eligible to apply.
• Candidates with prior relevant experience will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

DESCRIPTION

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Electronics systems design: Assist in the design and development of electronic systems for defense applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
