Job summary

VVDN Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai invites a hardware design engineer to lead high-speed board design, focusing on CPU-based designs from Qualcomm, NXP, Mediatek, Ambarella and similar vendors.

The role demands expertise in PCIe, DDR3/4, SATA, HDMI, USB3.0, MIPI, RF interfaces, and thorough thermal management. BOM optimization and low-power design experience are important, with camera-oriented design a plus.

Qualifications

• Expertise in CPU-based designs (Qualcomm/NXP/Mediatek/Ambarella etc)
• Experience in high-speed design (PCIe, DDR3/4, SATA, HDMI, USB3.0, MIPI)
• Understanding of thermal performance of the device
• BOM optimization / low-cost product design experience
• MP-oriented product design experience
• Good understanding of RF interfaces
• Experience in camera-based design is a plus
• Low power / battery design experience is a plus
• SI /PI analysis experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Hardware design (High-Speed board design).
• Role & responsibilities: CPU-based designs from major vendors.
• Ensure thermal performance considerations are integrated into designs.
• Optimize BOM for cost efficiency and manufacturability.
• Consider MP-oriented product design requirements.
• Incorporate RF interfaces into hardware solutions.
• Camera-based design experience is a plus.
• Low power/battery design awareness is beneficial.
• Conduct SI/PI analyses as needed.
