Job description

Technical/Functional Skill Set :

• Expertise in circuit design.
• Hands on experience on either 16 or 32 bit processors and micro controllers like Power PC, IBM PPC 405, and Intel x 86, ARM.
• FPGA based board designs
• Good understanding of high Speed Board Design and Signal Integrity Concepts.
• Exposure to PCI, PCI Express, VME, Compact PCI, and ATCA/AMC based systems would be an added advantage.
• Embedded HW designs for defense applications
• Exposure to qualification process
• Good Verbal and Written Communication, Good Interpersonal Skills and Group skills

Technology Domains:

• Storage Technologies (iSCSI / SATA / Fiber Channel)
• Processors (MIPS, ARM, PPC)
• Interfaces (USB, PCIe, PCI-X) & Memories (DDR/DDR2, RLDRAM)
• Board bring up and debug skills

Job Description:

• Execution of assigned design work within the given timeframe.
• To ensure that the module design meets the requirements and is robust and scalable.
• To resolve job technical problems within agreed timeframes.
• QMS and Process Adherence.
• Learning and Development
• Hardware board design, Circuit design, Schematic design. SI, PI and thermal analysis. PCB review, design documentation
• Development of hardware test plan
• To test the designed Board and System as per test plan
• Participate and implement defect prevention and design process improvement activities in the project.
• Adherence to all QMS guidelines
• Indicate any technical issues to the Tech lead
