AAR Kay Management Consultants, on behalf of our client, a leading automobile dealership group in Karnataka, seeks a dynamic Group Finance Controller based in Bangalore.

The role reports to the Managing Director and requires CA qualification with 20–25 years of post-qualification experience; English and Kannada fluency are mandatory.

You will oversee governance, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and ERP insights while travelling to branches monthly as required.

Core Specifications

• Position: Group Finance Controller
• Location: Bangalore (Candidates currently based in Bangalore strongly preferred)
• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory
• Experience: 20 to 25 years of post-qualification experience
• Industry Focus: Proven track record of managing large group companies within the Automobile Dealership Industry across multiple locations.
• Age Profile: 45 to 50 years maximum

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

• Financial Governance: Maintain rigorous accounting standards, ensure prompt filing of group balance sheets, and oversee absolute statutory compliance.
• Operational Mobility: Must visit branches in Karnataka once a month or as required to ensure branch finance is in order and to motivate the team.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and align robust finance teams across corporate headquarters and various branch locations.
• Strategic Insights: Partner with the Managing Director to deliver precise forecasting, budgeting, cost control measures, and ERP management insights.
• Linguistic Mastery: Excellent communication skills in English & Kannada are mandatory. Working knowledge of Hindi is a distinct advantage.
