The Role

Aarna Systems is hiring a full-time, on-site Graphics & Video Editor to create high-performing social media creatives, ad assets, and brand-led visual content for digital campaigns. The role focuses on designing thumb-stopping posts and reels, editing short-form and long-form videos, and producing marketing collaterals that support performance marketing and brand objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong aesthetic sense, fast execution, and the ability to adapt brand guidelines into multiple formats.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deliver static and motion creatives for social media (posts, carousels, reels/shorts, stories) across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as needed.
• Edit high-quality short-form and long-form videos for campaigns, case studies, explainers, webinars, and brand content, optimized for each platform’s specifications.
• Create social media advertising assets (image ads, video ads, banners, thumbnails) aligned to campaign KPIs such as CTR, engagement rate, and view-through rate.
• Design marketing collaterals including brochures, one-pagers, email graphics, presentation decks, event creatives, and internal brand materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, performance, and content teams to interpret briefs, storyboard concepts, and translate them into visually compelling creatives.
• Adapt and resize creatives across formats and platforms while maintaining visual consistency, brand alignment, and technical quality.
• Implement basic UI/UX and layout principles when working on website banners, landing page hero sections, and campaign-specific page layouts.
• Maintain an organized asset library (project files, fonts, images, raw and final footage) with proper versioning and backup practices.
• Stay updated with visual trends, social media design best practices, and platform changes to continuously improve creative performance.
• Support quick-turnaround campaign requirements with fast, reliable delivery while adhering to brand and quality standards.
• Track performance of key creatives (where data is shared) and apply learnings to future design and video work.

Requirements

MUST HAVE

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing for digital/social media.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent tools; basic After Effects or motion graphics skills.
• Demonstrated experience creating social media posts, reels/shorts, ad creatives, thumbnails, and marketing collaterals.
• Understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and brand design principles.
• Ability to work with brand guidelines and translate them into multiple creative formats.
• Basic knowledge of aspect ratios, resolutions, codecs, and best practices for exporting platform-optimized files.
• Strong portfolio showing real-world campaigns/work (not only academic work), especially social media and ad creatives.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to creative briefs and feedback.
• Strong time management, ownership, and ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

PREFERRED

• Exposure to UI/UX concepts and website layout design (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar).
• Experience in designing creatives for performance marketing (Meta Ads, Google Display/YouTube ads).
• Knowledge of basic animation and motion graphics (Canva, Filmora, After Effects or similar).
• Experience working in digital marketing agencies or with multiple brands/clients.
• Familiarity with generative/AI tools for creative ideation or asset generation (e.g., Firefly, Midjourney, Runway) where appropriate.
