ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a versatile Junior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer who lives at the intersection of static art and moving pictures. You will be the "visual architect" of our brand RFID4U, responsible for creating everything from eye-catching Instagram carousels to high-energy motion graphics. This role is perfect for a creative sponge who wants to touch every part of the visual production process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Motion & Video Editing
- Video Editing & Assembly: Edit diverse raw footage (talking heads, product demos, software screencasts, and B-roll) into polished, high-retention videos for both short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form (Corporate Explainers/YouTube).
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Go beyond templates; create custom lower thirds, kinetic typography, dynamic transitions, and animate complex tech concepts or software interfaces using Adobe After Effects.
- Audio Post-Production: Source suitable royalty-free scores, clean up corporate dialogue (noise reduction/EQ), perform sound leveling, and seamlessly sync voiceovers and SFX to match the visual beat.
- Color Correction & Grading: Apply color correction to balance multi-cam footage and uneven lighting, and grade videos to ensure a consistent, premium look that aligns with our brand guidelines.
- Platform Optimization & Delivery: Re-format content natively for various platforms (9:16, 16:9, 1:1) while strictly adhering to platform-specific UI "safe zones," pacing styles, and optimal export codecs.
- Asset & Workflow Management: Maintain a rigorous, organized project folder structure, clear naming conventions, and version control to ensure seamless collaboration with the marketing team and easy archiving.
2.Graphic Design & Branding
- Digital Assets & Thumbnails: Occasionally design high-CTR YouTube thumbnails, social media carousels, and web banners that strictly adhere to our corporate typography and brand guidelines.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Expert-level understanding of the timeline, nesting, and multi-cam editing.
- Adobe After Effects: Solid foundation in keyframing, masking, and using expressions for motion.
- Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator: Ability to prepare static assets (layers) for animation and graphics.
- Knowledge of AI tools like HeyGen AI for dynamic video/avatar generation, and Google Gemini for storyboarding, scripting, and workflow acceleration.
- Design Stack (Photoshop, Illustrator & Canva): Ability to prepare complex static assets (layers) for animation in Adobe, alongside fast execution of occasional web or presentation layouts using Canva.
- Pacing & Storytelling: A strong sense of "the beat"knowing when to cut for emotional impact or energy.
SOFT SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Portfolio Requirement: Must provide a link showing video work (cuts, transitions, motion graphics, and ideally software/UI animations) along with basic static layouts (posters/web banners). Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current visual trends and video formats.
- Communication: Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on drafts quickly.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Film, Multimedia, Animation, or equivalent (candidates with an
- exceptional portfolio are highly encouraged to apply).
