Job summary

The Graphic Designer role at Obeetee Craft Studio is to support design output across pattern development, visual documentation and presentation material, collaborating with design and production teams to move ideas from concept to studio-ready reference.

You will document patterns, motifs and colourways, prepare design decks for internal review and client conversations, and help translate briefs into refined visual outputs within studio timelines.

Qualifications

• Formal design education from NIFT, NID or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of relevant design experience in product design, furniture or related craft.
• Proficiency in pattern, layout and presentation software.
• Ability to work within a defined studio aesthetic and meet timelines.

Role Purpose

The Graphic Designer supports the Obeetee Craft Studio's design output across pattern development, visual documentation and presentation material, working closely with the design and production teams to move ideas from concept to studio-ready reference.

Skills and Qualifications

• Formal design education from NIFT, NID or an equivalent institute.
• Three to four years of relevant design experience, ideally including product design, furniture or a comparable craft category.
• Strong command of design software used for pattern, layout and presentation work.
• An eye for colour, proportion and craft detail, and comfort working within a defined studio aesthetic.
• Freelance or consulting experience is welcome provided it demonstrates sustained, professional design output.
