Job summary

Cadfem Engineering Services is seeking an engineer to support technical engagements, application engineering, and pre-sales for HF electromagnetic simulation solutions in Pune and Western India. You will collaborate with customers, application engineers, and business development teams on RF, microwave, antenna, radar, EMC/EMI, and connected mobility systems.

The role covers engagement with aerospace defense labs, automotive OEMs, and suppliers, development of demonstration workflows, post-sales

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in ECE or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of core electronics concepts.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Customer Engagement: Engage with aerospace defense organizations, automotive Tier-2 suppliers, and research institutions; identify customer engineering challenges and map them to simulation solutions.
• Aerospace Defense Industry Support: Assist engagements with defense laboratories and aerospace organizations; tailor demonstration workflows for aerospace and defense applications.
• Automotive Industry Support: Support technical engagements with automotive manufacturers and suppliers; promote simulation-driven development methods.
• Technical Marketing Knowledge Development: Organise customer workshops, webinars, seminars, and technology days; develop technical collateral including notes, benchmarks, whitepapers, and demonstration models.
• Post-Sales Support: Work with sales to provide timely support to existing customers; assist in webinars and customer-facing events; maintain engagement records and reports.
• Learning Competency Development: Complete structured training in high-frequency electromagnetics and stay updated on EV, autonomous systems, and related tech trends.

• 1. Technical Customer Engagement
  • Support technical discussions with Aerospace Defense organizations, automotive Tier-2 suppliers, and research institutions.
  • Assist in identifying customer engineering challenges and aligning them with simulation-driven solutions.
  • Participate in technical presentations, workshops, proof-of-concept studies, and customer demonstrations.
  • Support customer evaluations and benchmarking activities for high-frequency applications.
• 2. Aerospace Defense Industry Support
  • Assist engagements with defense laboratories, aerospace organizations, missile and radar development agencies, and private defense manufacturers.
  • Develop demonstration workflows tailored to aerospace and defense applications.
• 3. Automotive Industry Support
  • Support technical engagements with automotive manufacturers and suppliers across Punes automotive ecosystem.
  • Support adoption of simulation-driven development methodologies for next-generation mobility platforms.
• 4. Technical Marketing Knowledge Development
  • Assist in organizing customer workshops, webinars, seminars, and technology days.
  • Develop technical collateral including:
    • Application notes
    • Benchmark studies
    • Whitepapers
    • Demonstration models
    • Industry-specific solution presentations
    • Support participation in aerospace, defense, and automotive industry events.
• 5. Post-Sales Support
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely support to existing customers.
  • Support technical preparations to be utilized during webinars, seminars, and customer-facing events, and deliver the same whenever required.
  • Maintain customer engagement records and technical activity reports.
• 6. Learning Competency Development
  • Complete structured training and certification programs on high-frequency electromagnetics and multiphysics simulation.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in EV development, autonomous systems, sustainable mobility, Aerospace Defense applications, and associated technological advancements.
