Job Title: Application Engineer CAE (Altair Feko)

Location: Pune

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Application Engineer with a strong background in High frequency electromagnetic to join our growing team at Technokraten Engineering Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Altair Feko for antenna design, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI), radar cross-section (RCS) analysis, and RF system simulation.

As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support, training, and consultation to our customers. You will also contribute to pre- and post-sales technical activities, helping customers optimize their electromagnetic simulation workflows and achieve accurate, high-quality results using Altair Feko.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for Altair Feko.
• Conduct software evaluations, benchmarks, and proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate Fekos capabilities in antenna and electromagnetic simulation.
• Deliver on-site, online, and classroom training to enhance customer proficiency in Altair Feko.
• Support customers in model setup, solver configuration, and post-processing of electromagnetic simulations.
• Troubleshoot High frequency EM-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective solutions.
• Apply knowledge of antenna theory, electromagnetic wave propagation, scattering, and EMC/EMI to assist customers in solving real-world engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify customer needs and help improve simulation workflows.
• Participate in Altair internal training programs to expand expertise in other electromagnetic simulation capabilities.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Altair Feko for antenna design, RCS, or EMC/EMI analysis.
• Excellent understanding of electromagnetic theory, wave propagation, RF and antenna performance metrics.
• Familiarity with antenna types, impedance matching, and far-field pattern analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with customers.
• Ability to explain complex electromagnetic concepts clearly and concisely.
