Job summary

CERATIZIT India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a fresher or early-career Division Associate to assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities for Solid Carbide Tools and related tooling.

You will support shop floor operations to meet targets, quality requirements, and delivery schedules, and assist in CNC processes, inspection, and packaging. You will work with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Design, Maintenance, and Planning, ensuring proper handling of materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in Production, Manufacturing, CNC Machining, or Engineering Industry.
• Understanding of CNC machines, cutting tools, and precision manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Solid Carbide Tools, End Mills, Drills, Reamers, and other cutting tools is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic knowledge of production planning, quality control, and shop floor practices.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities for Solid Carbide Tools, Indexable Tools, and Special Purpose Cutting Tools.
• Support shop floor operations to ensure production targets, quality requirements, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Assist in manufacturing processes including CNC Tool Grinding, CNC Machining, Edge Preparation, Inspection, and Packaging.
• Monitor machine performance, production output, and downtime, and report deviations to supervisors.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design, Maintenance, and Planning departments for smooth workflow and timely execution of orders.
• Assist in monitoring quality parameters and support corrective actions for process-related issues.
• Support new product trials, process validation activities, and product development projects.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, semi-finished products, tools, and finished goods during production activities.
